LE VIE DEL TARTUFO was born from the will and desire of Giovannino as a truffle hunter to transform his great passion for truffle,and everything about it,into a real business.Thanks to his great passion,perservarance and deep knowledge of truffles,Giovannino founded the company in the early 1980s.

　　At the beginning,the focus was mainly oriented to the marketing of fresh truffles,for the most part harvested directly from the 900,000 square meters of truflle fields owned by the company in the territories of UMBRIA,also known as the"Green Heart of Italy".

　　Over time the company keeps on growing,the company has set up the laboratory dedicated to the creation of preserved products with truffles in order to meet the growing demands of the market.Today,the company has exported to 95 countries around the world,covering food service,retail and many other sales channels.
